Skill Description Edit

  • You distort time around your person in order to slow down your enemy
  • Nearby Enemies are slowed down according to how close they are to you
  • This mutation has a very short effective range, it is most useful at melee range but can be used by ranged combatant to kite from melee attacker
  • Cooldown 125, duration 15

This mutation mimics the effect of Time Stopping by reducing the enemy's Quickness attribute to a percentage of its normal value. At level 12, enemies that are in a tile next to the player are reduced to 8% of their normal Quickness, essentially preventing most enemies from reacting to your attacks while the mutation is active.

  • Extremely strong debuff to nearby enemies.
  • Gives you multiple opportunities to use your skills before enemies can react.
  • Works great to slow down nearby threats so that you can escape danger.

Disadvantages Edit

  • Short distance
  • Short duration
  • Long cooldown
  • Can only be activated from the caster
  • Doesn't slow down projectiles since ranged combat in Caves of Qud uses hitscan
  • Doesn't reduce the enemies' dodging ability either
