Poison is a status effect that damages a character for several hitpoints every turn. After it wears off, the character becomes Ill.
Poisoning can be inflicted by these sources, among others:
- Scorpiock stings
- Poison Gas Grenades
- The Poison Breath mutation
- Thrown spears used by Snapjaws and Snapjaw Troglodytes
Dealing with Poison Edit
Poison immunity and resistance Edit
Two skills in the Endurance tree, Shake it off and Poison Tolerance, Add 25% poison immunity each.
It is possible to become completely immune to poison. If the player gains both of the poison resistance skills in the Endurance tree, then equips Slog's Annunclus, they will have complete poison immunity. The player can also equip two Slog's Annuncluses to achieve this effect without the Endurance skills.
Eating a Luminous Hoarshroom will grant temporary poison immunity.
Mitigating illness Edit
Dishes cooked with honey can gain an effect "You only get Ill for 1/10th the usual amount of time."
