AdvantagesEdit

  • Increased carry capacity to carry loot (also helpful for utilizing very heavy armor / weapons)
  • More move speed to keep your character alive and help you engage enemies on your own terms
  • Extra feet equipment slot
  • Enables enormous battlefield control. Having this mutation at level 10 while wearing 2 pairs of Bounding Boots with the spring-loaded mod will give you over 200 Move Speed. This effectively allows you to move around 4-5 tiles before any other creature can even react. Considering those boots also set your sprint move speed multiplier to 3, sprinting becomes almost as good as teleporting.

DisadvantagesEdit

  • The cost in Mutation Points is pretty steep at 5 points
  • AV and DV values of armor items equipped in the feet slots are averaged (rounding up) over both slots, so you need to equip the same item on both feet slots to benefit from the original values.
