Freezing is a status effect. While frozen the subject may not take most physical actions. Mental actions and most equipment actions are still allowed.

Being frozen is caused by low Temperature (for player and most monsters, -100). It is possible to cure the status by applying a Blaze Injector, consuming Asphalt, or casting Pyrokinesis nearby, since all of those actions are allowed while frozen and increase temperature.

Note that low temperature will lower quickness only if you aren't frozen yet (Infact, you're quickness will mostly be at its full amount while freezing) This will allow you to take a complete action each turn while frozen (though severely limited since you're frozen). Thawing will probably take some time and leave your quickness low again, so you may want to use mental mutations and tonics to take advantage of this.
