Being on fire is a status effect. While on fire the subject takes 1 damage per turn.

The status is caused by having high Temperature (for player and most monsters, 350). Heat Resist will decrease temperature increases, delaying being set on fire.

Not to be confused with the item mod of the same name, which does not in fact set creatures on fire

Tips Edit

  • Lowering temperature will always cure it, and it can be achieved trough many methods
  • Walking into, or pouring on self, most of the Liquids will lower temperature. At very high temperatures, using Water-based liquids to stop fire has a risk of creating Steam, which can deal over 10 damage per turn.
  • If you ever got set on fire, leave your immediate area (Because if you stay, you would otherwise be set on fire again due to the temperature) and skip a few turn which automatically cause your character to manually beat their own fire
