"YOU ARE CORRECT, ARISTOCRAT. FIRSTLY, MAKE SURE THERE ARE CREDITS REMANING ON YOUR CYBERNETICS CREDIT WEDGE. THE INSTALLATION OF A CYBERNETIC IMPLANT COSTS ONE CREDIT." - Cybernetics Terminal when asked about "HOW DO I INSTALL A CYBERNETIC IMPLANT?"
A Cybernetics Credit Wedge is weightless and holds one to three credits. A credit from a Cybernetics Credit Wedge is used to increase your License Points, which allows you to install more (and more powerful) Cybernetics at a Becoming Nook. Note that you must also be True Kin to use it.

Value Edit

Most wedges you'll find have a value of 150 drams per credit. The wedges sold by Q Girl and the Wild-Eyed Merchant, and the wedge found on the miner remains, are "cheap" and cost only 25 drams per credit. If you partially use a wedge's credits, its sell value does not diminish, even though it will lave less credits remaining.

Finding Wedges Edit

Wedges are rare. Guaranteed drops:

Other ways to obtain a wedge:

  • The Knight Commanders that often (but not always) lead Templar squads will always carry a three-credit wedge that can be traded for or looted from their corpse.
    • One legendary Knight Commander will always spawn during A Call To Arms quest.
  • Further, any legendary Templar (not just Commanders) can gift you a single one-credit wedge for 37 reputation during a Water Ritual.
    • The giftable wedge does not appear in the monster's inventory until you initiate the water ritual.
  • Similarly, legendary Chrome Idols (found at random in jungle) have a 1 in 3 chance (determined when you first share oil with them) of having a giftable wedge.
  • Other legendary robots (found in lairs) have a 1 in 2 chance of having the wedge.
  • Finally, as with almost any item, wedges can be found underground and sold by traders, although this is a very rare occurrence.
