Blinking Tic (D)

You teleport about uncontrollably.

Small chance each round you're in combat that you randomly teleport to a nearby location.

Blinking Tic (D) is a mental defect that causes the player to randomly teleport on occasion while in combat.

If a player with Blinking Tic is close to a hostile creature, there is a 0.1% chance each round for them to teleport to a random tile in the current zone. Unlike normal Teleportation, this can be to an unexplored tile.

Players with Blinking Tic will not be able to teleport if they are affected by normality, such as when they are wearing an Ontological anchor.pngontological anchor.[1]

When Blinking Tic triggers, the message log returns the following:

You lurch suddenly!
